As a member based organisation our primary aim at Workabout Australia is to provide tangible benefits and support to our members as they travel Australia, or go through the planning process preparing for their trip of a lifetime.
Once you are a member of Workabout Australia, you will begin receiving the weekly email bulletin every Friday morning, which contains details of any new positions that have become available that week. The bulletin also contains hints and tips, member’s stories and updates on any new deals or discounts being offered to members.
To ensure maximum benefit to our members all new positions are only shown in the Members’ area of the website for the first seven (7) days before being made available in the public area. This means that Members have first access to all new jobs on the website and that we have the opportunity to send them out in our weekly bulletin before being made available to non-members.
Membership of the Workabout Australia Club also entitles you access to the secure Member’s area of the website. Contained in the Member’s area are:
- Weekly bulletins for the past 12 months allowing you to research the types of seasonal positions available
- Access to our Members only Facebook group, where members keep in touch and swap stories. This can be particularly useful for newer members/travellers wanting to draw on the knowledge and experience of the more seasoned members.
- Our Deals and Discounts page, containing discounts and specials offered exclusively to our members on various products and services
- Tip of the Week where we post information and news relevant to members
- Member’s photo gallery
- Our interactive map showing the location of employers
- You can also upload your own photos, edit your personal details and renew your membership
Club Membership is $55 per year and joining is easy.
