Retail Manager

Darwin based Kakadu Blue, a subsidiary of Australian Blue Cypress, manufacture pioneering skincare naturally derived from quality, traceable Australian ingredients. Our Australian Blue Cypress oil has a strong reputation in the essential oil industry domestically and internationally.

 

We are looking for an experienced retail manager that can support our business as we develop more products and experiences and assist with driving our forecasted growth.

 

If you have a passion for the health and beauty industry with strong customer service skills and understand the needs of a boutique retail shop, then we want to hear from you.

 

The position is part time with the opportunity to go full time, Monday to Friday (occasional weekend work may be required based on business demands)

 

Your key responsibilities including but not limited to:

·           maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards;

·           preparing stock for markets;

·           managing sales and stock take;

·           ordering, recording and managing inventory;

·           managing tours;

·           managing bookings;

·           managing and accounting for all money-handling procedures;

·           maintaining quality service by enforcing quality and customer service standards and recommending system improvements;

·           general administration duties.

 

Skills and Experience

·         Must have experience in similar role

·         Must have excellent customer service skills

·         Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy;

·         Proven organisational and time management skills;

·         Strong commitment to confidentiality and professionalism;

·         WHS compliance ;

·         Quality assurance;

·         Ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and effectively manage multiple tasks;

·         Interpersonal and relationship building skills;

·         Performance management;

·         Proficiency with office software.

 

 

If successful in the role, you will be required to undertake a National Criminal History check prior to commencement.
