Job Description
Our client is a state-of-the-art pecan and macadamia processing facility located in the beautiful regional town of Swansea. Products are distributed through all major domestic manufacturing and retail channels.
Agri Labour Australia is now taking applications for several skilled and ticketed forklift operators to join this great facility. As a forklift operator you will be responsible for transporting pallets and loading and unloading trucks.
Working across multiple teams, the role requires the smooth and safe operation of forklifts and following strict operational procedures to uphold a safety-conscious environment. You will also be required to sort nuts, bag them into 20kg bags, and perform general labouring tasks.
Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate must have demonstrated experience in efficient forklift operations and hold a current Australian forklift ticket. Proactive and a keen team player, you will be flexible, reliable and come to work with a ‘can do’ attitude.
To be considered for the role, it’s important you can address the following criteria:
- Current Australian forklift licence
- Proven experience in safe and efficient operations of a forklift (Reference required)
- Flexible with your tasks and willing to work different shifts
- Committed to the season (1-2.5 months)
- Good level of English
- Need to be able to work independently and as a teams
