Excellent, busy 30 Room motel + onsite restaurant open to the public are looking for an active, friendly and experienced relief couple for 1 month from the 1 August – 31 August 2024. 2 days handover will be provided prior to taking over on the 1st August. Majority of the linen is outsourced. Pool towels, mattress and pillow protectors, shower curtains are all washed onsite by the housekeeping/reception teams. Full housekeeping team in place who do all the cleaning, stripping, rubbish removal etc. Managers will only need to assist in the case of an emergency. Note: managers to do the stripping, rubbish removal & placing of clean linen on public holidays only – one public holiday will fall during this period. Full reception team in place Monday – Friday, with partial reception coverage on Saturdays and Managers to cover reception duties on Sundays. Reception hours are 7am – 9:30pm – approx – based on Restaurant closing). Pool – which is monitored & cleaned by the maintenance team/cleaning contractor – managers only need to assist if required. Gardens maintained by maintenance team – managers to assist only if required. Cooked Breakfast available in the restaurant Monday – Saturday (restaurant cook & staff to manager do this). Continental room service breakfast on Sundays – prepared & delivered to the rooms the night before by the kitchen team. Managers only need to cook in the event of staff sickness. Dinners in the restaurant Monday – Saturday (restaurant cook & evening staff to manager do) however managers need to be actively assisting in the restaurant during the evenings. Managers will need to prepare a reduced menu on Sunday evenings for in-house guests only – instructions for each dish will be provided. It’s important to note – most of your time will be spent providing hands-on support, problem solving, organising and assisting in the on-site restaurant most evenings. Pets considered. Successful candidates must have previous experience in running a motel with an attached restaurant, have a current QLD RSA, Approved Managers certificate, Food Handling Certificate & Food Safety Supervisor.
