Overview
The Karumba Point Sunset Caravan Park is situated at the mouth of the Norman River in the Gulf of Carpentaria at Karumba Point Queensland, “Where the Outback Meets the Sea”. Karumba is renowned for fishing, bird life and the Grey Nomads choice award winning Barramundi Center.
We, the Managers, are taking a well earned break and therefore are offering the below Couples position.
We are seeking applications from experienced Park managers/Relief Managers for a 5-8 week Relief Management employment role, managing our park, based at Karumba Point Queensland. Occupancy during this period is very low. This can lead to future employment within our Park, should you wish to extend your employment with us.
KEY POINTS:
This is a role for a couple.
Relief Managers will need to have their own accommodation (caravan or similar) and be based on site. Alternate arrangements may be applicable if need be.
The position will be available for commencement January 2022
The successful candidates will have experience using park booking systems (RMS or similar) and have worked in hands-on roles in similar Caravan parks. Must be fit, honest, reliable, have a can do attitude and be able to work unsupervised to a high standard.
ROLES:
- Front office (RMS)
- Shop sales
- Banking
- Balancing
- Rosters
- Reporting to Managers/Owners
- Housekeeping, including Linen, not outsourced
- Grounds and maintenance work
- Amenities Cleaning
- General up keep to a high standard
- Out of season projects.
There will be 2 staff members employed to help you with, office, housekeeping and grounds/maintenance etc.
