Job Description

The Role

Join a well-established vineyard in Euston, NSW, where you’ll take on a hands-on role across irrigation and vineyard operations. Working outdoors and as part of a close-knit team, you’ll contribute to producing high-quality fruit through effective vineyard maintenance, machinery operation, and irrigation management. This is a physical, outdoors role requiring resilience in long days and extreme weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities

This role focuses on supporting daily vineyard operations, particularly irrigation, machinery use, and crop management. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Operating vineyard machinery safely and efficiently
  • Implementing, measuring, and recording irrigation across the vineyard
  • Assisting with irrigation system repairs and maintenance
  • Pruning, vine training, and canopy management
  • Managing pests, diseases, and weeds
  • Completing daily pre-start checks on machinery and equipment
  • Recording spray applications and equipment checks accurately
  • Contributing to a strong safety culture, including toolbox meetings
  • Supporting senior management with operational requirements

Your Skills & Experience

  • Irrigation experience is required
  • Current driver’s licence and reliable car
  • Chemical User Permit (or willingness to complete)
  • Experience operating vineyard machinery
  • Ability to work long hours outdoors in hot/extreme weather
  • Previous experience in a large-scale vineyard operation
