Established in 1996, Workabout Australia has two types of Members:
- Employer Members
- Club Members
Our Club Members are predominantly Australian citizens aged between 45-65 with sound work ethics and a willingness to earn some money as the travel the country.
Our Employer Members are a vast variety of businesses that have a seasonal, short term or part time need for staff.
So what do you get for $149 per year?
Our Employer Membership works on an annual subscription of just $149 per year to advertise as many jobs as you need, as often you like for as long as you want. This is especially useful for anyone who needs staff at various times throughout the year or those who have an extended “season” and need a rolling supply of workers.
Once you’ve joined as an Employer Member you have instant access to the “Employer Only” section of our website where you can place your job ads straight away, or if you need some help we’re more than happy to assist with writing your ads and posting your positions for you. You can also upload a photo of yourself or your business to make your ad stand out a little more.
As an Employer Member you can log in any time to update or amend your job ads. If you realise you’ve left out something important, just log in and update your ad, or let us know and we can do it for you. The more information you provide in your ad, the better your chance of getting just the right result.
Every Friday morning we send our weekly email bulletin directly to thousands of Club Members with all of the new jobs for that week, plus any that are still available. Our Employer Members get their best results from the Friday morning bulletin.
Once your job ad has gone out in the Friday morning email bulletin it remains in our Member’s Only area for a week to ensure our Club Members get first opportunity to apply, then it becomes available for the general public to view.
Once you job ad has appeared in the Friday morning email bulletin we will contact you the following week to see what sort of response you’ve received and work with you to amend the ad if needed.
