With the Easter break coming up early next month, it’s important to make sure you stay safe on the roads. One part of that is to make sure you ‘Stop, Revive, Survive’ on long trips. There are a couple of options to help you take a break while on the road. Once again, “Driver Reviver” stops are being set up across the country to allow you to stop for a free cup of tea or coffee and a biscuit. These community run sites, are an ideal place to take a break on a long journey. To find a rest stop on your journey, you can go to their Facebook page (www.facebook.com/driverreviverau) for updates. If you are travelling through NSW, there are also a number of businesses offering a ‘Free Cuppa for the Driver’. The Free Cuppa for the Driver programme will run from now until 31 May. To be eligible for a free cup of coffee or tea, drivers need to be more than 100km away from home, and produce their driver’s licence to staff at participating businesses. Just go to www.facebook.com/freecuppa or www.freecuppa.com.au for more information.
