Small easy to run 14 room, 3-star Motel in Ballina is looking for an energetic, warm and friendly customer focused management couple with great attention from 30th April – 10th May 2024. This role includes all front of house duties, supervising casual staff (approx 5 housekeepers), as well as stripping/restocking rooms with fresh linen. Sheets & pillowcases are outsourced. With managers to wash all towels etc. All back of house accounting for BAS, wages, etc is completed by owners. No food – breakfasts or dinners. Pool to be checked & cleaned daily. Light gardening duties and repairs as required– equipment provided. Pets may be considered. Training provided. RMS FOS. Accommodation includes 2-bedroom modern residence attached to reception with electricity, gas, water and internet included. $300 per day. The ideal candidates would be a couple that have had some industry experience and understand the rigours of running a property day to day. Ballina is 30 minutes from Byron Bay, surrounded by waterways and only minutes from the beach – sounds like a brilliant place to call home for a few weeks, don’t you think?
